The regular meeting of the Forest Lakes Owners Association was held at the Chevelon Butte School.

There being a quorum present the meeting was called to order by the president, Frank Astemborski at 2:02 P.M.
SECRETARY'S REPORT: DIANNE POST
The minutes of the November 15th FLOA Meeting were read by the Dianne Post, and on a motion by Dianne seconded by Virgilee, were unanimously approved as amended by the officers present.

On a motion by Dianne seconded by Nancy, the treasurer's report was approved by the officers present.
REVIEW OF COMMITTEES
MEMBERSHIP: VIRGILEE SCHOLL
On of 3/15/03 there were 536 members; last year there were 606 members.
VIRGILEE SCHOLL reminded us that one must be a member at least 30 days before the elections of the Board Members to be able to vote.
VIRGILEE SCHOLL The FLOA Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation will be available on the Web Site.
"OLD BUSINESS" PER AGENDA
ARTICLES AND BY LAWS Frank They are in the Library on the back table for those that want to look at them.
COMPACTOR Sam We have finally come to an agreement with Coconino County about the operation of the Compactor after 16 months of meetings. The cost will be $36.00 per month.
TOWN HALL ACTION Frank
Community Building Bob reported that the committee has been meeting for several months. They are open to suggestions from the member of the committee.
Fuel Reduction Action Team (FRAT) Bob They have been meeting for several meetings and are meeting in May to come up with an educational pamphlet that will be specific to Forest Lakes. Wayne Rothwell reminded us that the grant that helps reimburse people for clearing their lots is still available.
Timber Harvest Frank there is several things going on in Navajo, Apache and Gram County to try and help the Forest Service to be able to do their job. There was a rally March 24th at the State Capital to try and get the attention of the Legislature about the plight of our forest with regard to thinning the forests. There was a Chair Saw Rally at the County Park to raise funds for the effort of the people that are trying to get the thinning on target.
PHONE BOOKS Jack stated that they were to be done but were not here yet. They will be available at the April meeting
BLOCK WATCH Diane stated that the Block Watch annual meetings would be a good place for member from the Fuel Reduction and Community Action Teams to talk with the people of Forest Lakes.
SCHOOL BOARD Jan There was a conference on redistricting and the Legislature will be doing the conference. We are down to 11 students
AUXILLARY – JAN wanted who knew anything about who made the front plates for our cars. They are thinking about another project to raise money.
A. New Board Members:
Nancy Greenleaf will take the place of Al Mager and will be on the board for the 5 remaining month of his term.
Chick Ideker will finish out Connie Wideners year and 5 month term.
